For the best results, we need to tap into our subconscious mind - our thoughts and beliefs that we are not aware of.

95% of your brain’s activity occurs outside your control, deep in the subconscious. Your subconscious shapes your beliefs, habits, and reality. If you can find a way to control your subconscious, you can unlock what is arguably the most powerful tool known to mankind. The best way to control your subconscious?

Consciously be aware of your thoughts every day, every minute, which is not really possible, but you can do your best starting now.
One way to tap into this mind is journaling, it can help to  have more awareness over your thoughts,  but if you want to jump fast to your negative patterns, beliefs, thoughts, is it the best way in theta state with NLP techniques.

I can help you get there as an NLP coach, but in this blog I want to teach you some simple techniques that you can start practicing also by yourself.
I believe in you, now it is time for you to start believing in yourself as well.

So here you go, some tips for your journey of gaining success mindset with your conscious and subconscious mind.

1. Set Goals

You might have goals already present in your mind that you think about every now and then but that doesn’t mean that they are goals that you’re aiming for. According to study conducted by Dr. Gail Matthews, 43% of people who regularly write down their goals and dreams are more likely to achieve them.

2. Visualise your goal

The first and most important, factor you’ll need to consider when it comes to tapping into your subconscious mind, so you can succeed in anything you like is to visualize what you want or what your goal is. Visualize till you reach the feeling that you want to feel once you will reach your goal.

Simple visualization exercise:

What is your favourite dish?

Visualize this dish and practice getting in touch with your mind.

Close your eyes and see the color of it and feel the taste of it in your mouth now while you are thinking about it, observe its shape and even think how it goes through your body as your entire digestive system interacts with it. Imagine its crispness and taste its sweetness...

Great, now when you know how to do it. Close your eyes, relax your body (The best is visualization is in the meditative state) and picture yourself reaching your goal and how would you like to feel there? What kind of clothes would you wear while you are there in your future? Who is there on the scene? Which place? Include as many details as you can! ;)

This will help you to  get motivated, when it is the most challenging.

3. Meditation

You might wonder, how to calm down your mind, all your thoughts in order to focus on your goal and even visualize it. Meditation is the key that has long been renowned for being a great way to get in touch with your subconscious mind to see how it’s really working. Even just practicing for 5-10 minutes a day can have huge benefits on the way your mind works and the health of your wellbeing.

4. Journaling

With a first thought, writing from the subconscious mind may seem like an abstract concept. Whether you plan on starting a daily journal or even writing a story, you’d be surprised that the subconscious mind plays a huge part in what we write and therefore is a great way to get in touch with it.

Our subconscious mind absorbs so much information and ideas, much of which doesn’t even pass through our conscious mind, making it a great resource when it comes to getting ideas down on paper or on a screen. Also, writing allows you to reach your subconscious emotions and thoughts. Once you are aware of them, you can also let them go if they don't serve you well..

5. Have also a gratitude journal

Studies have found that writing down the things you’re grateful for can improve your optimism and sense of well-being which is very important for you to  keep up when you feel stressed and overwhelmed.

You can do this by writing in a gratitude journal every day, or writing down a list of things you’re grateful for on days you’re having a hard time.

6. Have a positive mindset

Start your day positive with your positive affirmations. Your next day can already start in your mind before you fall asleep. You can decide what kind of mood you want to be in when you wake up and visualize how positive you wake up, full of energy, peace or any other emotions that  you would like to feel in the morning.
Did ever happen to you that you woke up before your alarm...just a few seconds or minutes before that? Yes, your mind remembered, even your body clock did a good job. This is how you can also give your mind tasks to wake up positive.

Once you wake up and you are still in your theta state, you can affirm positive affirmations as:

I am responsible for myself, and I start there.
I am still learning so it’s okay to make mistakes.

I am understood and my perspective is important.
I am well-rested and excited for the day.
Today is going to be a wonderful day.

If you don't resonate with affirmations, you can also use questions.
For example, ask yourself:
How would I react now, if I would be in my peaceful, happy or productive state?

You can find in the video more questions that  you can ask yourself in order to feel your best and become more motivated:
